Nursery School

In our 18 months-3 years setting we are offering a holistic approach to education introducing them to their first experience of nursery. We can accommodate 24 children aged between 18 months-3 years in a warm and welcoming Montessori environment.

Our ethos is to provide outstanding care for children within Montessori prepared environment to encourage them to become confident, independent, happy and passionate learners.

In our nursery we aim to put all the small steps in place to support children with a key person system so that every child is nurtured to their full potential. Our 2-3s have to opportunity to learn at their own pace within an environment specifically designed for their needs and age.

We are committed to working with parents and welcome parents into the classroom to read to the children or to come in and talk about an interest, profession or cultural background.

All children have a key person who will help your child to settle into nursery life with ease. All key teachers are qualified in either Montessori or hold an NVQ 3 or equivalent, they also are First Aid trained and have continuous training in the Safeguarding of children.

Children have the opportunity to be involved in a variety of exciting clubs which enhance the Montessori philosophy and links to the EYFS.

Yoga fun – every Monday Miss Lindsay leads a lovely Yoga class with the children, teaching them yoga positions and breathing techniques through simple stories.

Dance and Movement class every Tuesday with Jess from Fairy Footsteps teaching children coordination, movement and music.
